It was an experience so different to everything I knew that I told my friends they should go on a tour as well. The five of us returned some month later to spend a whole week in the Sahara and we all loved it. Abidine is the greatest organizer I know, he thought about everything and cared about our wellbeing. He and the guides served us traditional food and at night we were telling stories at the bonfire. We could relax and enjoy the landscape and walking. I wish for everybody to once experience this. We were blessed to have Ismael as our driver and travel companion. Abidine and Ismael really took my worries away. Ismael was very on time yet very flexible with our requests. I could not memorize all the places he took us to but all of these places made my Morocco experience completed. Some of the tours that really stays in my heart is the visit to Ait Ben Haddou, the Berber house where Beber womens make rugs, and of course the Sahara adventures. Ismael was not only our driver, he also become a friend for a life time. It’s amazing how trust built in only a day. That’s how sweet and good he is. His driving is very good as well. My husband said he feel save traveling with him. When Ismael performed the Berber music in the camp, it was a perfect icing on the cake. The accommodations were absolutely wonderful — Dades Paradise in the Dades Gorges was beautiful and peaceful, and our two nights at Sakura Luxury Desert Camp were simply magical. Sleeping in the Sahara under the stars, enjoying delicious dinners and breakfasts, listening to Berber music around the fire, and waking up to the silence of the dunes were moments we will never forget. Camel trekking and sandboarding in Erg Chebbi were such fun and added to the adventure.

What we appreciated most about this tour was the opportunity to see the real Morocco. It wasn’t just sightseeing — it felt like a genuine cultural journey where we learned how people truly live and preserve their heritage.

Our itinerary took us from Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley → Merzouga & the Sahara Desert Camp → Fes → Chefchaouen → Marrakech, and every destination was a highlight in its own way. The Sahara was absolutely magical, and we even added a 4-wheeler (ATV) ride across the dunes — an exhilarating and totally worth-it extra!

  5 day Morrocco adventure  - Fantastic 5 day tour from Marrakech out to Erg Chebbi and on camel to Camp Sakura. Beutiful camp and they even had a special cake for my wifes... read more birthday. Had a great time with the drums by the camp fire. Then on to Fes and Chefchaouen. Continuing to Volibus rome ruins and dropped off at our hotel in Meknes. Our guide Ismail was excellent.

He adjusted my itinerary to suit my liking and also to adapt for some unpredicted weather - making... read more sure that I got the most out of all my time in Morocco. He was friendly and professional, providing good company as he drove and also accompanying me in the cities at some points during my tour so that I wasn't alone the entire time.

The riads that I stayed in were cute and cozy, the local guides that the company partners with provided interesting tidbits about their cities. My tour also included several meals, and I was impressed with the quality as sometimes the included meals on these types of tours are lacklustre - but this was not the case on this tour. I particularly enjoyed the meal during my stay in Dades Valley.

The highlight for me was the desert sunset and I wish that I had been able to stay in the desert longer yet as it was peaceful, and as Ismael said - "the desert is where you go to find yourself".
