Can I see the Sahara on a day trip from Marrakech?
No. The big dunes at Merzouga and Erg Chigaga are 7–9 hours from Marrakech, so they need at least 3 days. The closest desert landscape is Agafay, about an hour away, which has stony hills rather than sand dunes and works for a single night.
Where do the day trips start?
At your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Your driver-guide brings you back to Marrakech at the end of the day, except on the sandboarding day trip, which finishes in Agadir.
Is the tour private?
