Abdoul was a wonderful guide and taught us so much about Morocco. Abidene graciously answered many questions from us prior to the trip and was easily able to arrange for vegetarian meals. We truly had an incredible experience - it’s been the highlight of our trip; and I highly recommend Private Desert Tours. Our itinerary took us from Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley → Merzouga & the Sahara Desert Camp → Fes → Chefchaouen → Marrakech, and every destination was a highlight in its own way. The Sahara was absolutely magical, and we even added a 4-wheeler (ATV) ride across the dunes — an exhilarating and totally worth-it extra!

The trip to the Sahara was wonderful, and we truly felt like it was a movie! Riding camels, playing in the dunes, and awesome photo opportunities. Fez was magical; our accommodation was beyond our expectations with perfect hospitality. We had a guide through the old city, and he was very knowledgeable and ensured we experienced everything we hoped to! Chefchaouen was our last stop, and we had the evening and morning to explore on our own. Great shopping opportunities and everyone is so friendly!
To do this tour in 5 days is a lot of driving; however, the destinations and experiences are totally worth the hours in the car if you can't do the longer option. You will have many chances to stop on this tour, with some surprises along the way!

It was an experience so different to everything I knew that I told my friends they should go on a tour as well. The five of us returned some month later to spend a whole week in the Sahara and we all loved it. Abidine is the greatest organizer I know, he thought about everything and cared about our wellbeing. He and the guides served us traditional food and at night we were telling stories at the bonfire. We could relax and enjoy the landscape and walking. I wish for everybody to once experience this. Our guide/driver Ismail met us at our Riad in Marrakech and could not have been more helpful. He was welcoming, chatting to us about places we were passing, teaching us phrases and we wouldn't have seen even a fraction of Morocco if it wasn't for Ismail. He really made this trip such a wonderful and relaxed experience.

The highlight for me was camel riding and visiting the desert as it was truly magicial and it's somewhere I will go back again and again.

One highlight of our trip was the outstanding customer service. We received treatment as if we were staying at the Riad everywhere. Moroccan's are deeply invested in tourism. Our driver, Ismail was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He kept us safe and on schedule as well as provided great company. He tied the whole trip together and we could not have imagined a better trip leader.

The accommodations were absolutely wonderful — Dades Paradise in the Dades Gorges was beautiful and peaceful, and our two nights at Sakura Luxury Desert Camp were simply magical. Sleeping in the Sahara under the stars, enjoying delicious dinners and breakfasts, listening to Berber music around the fire, and waking up to the silence of the dunes were moments we will never forget. Camel trekking and sandboarding in Erg Chebbi were such fun and added to the adventure.

What we appreciated most about this tour was the opportunity to see the real Morocco. It wasn’t just sightseeing — it felt like a genuine cultural journey where we learned how people truly live and preserve their heritage.

In 5 days, we visited everything that was on our list: Dade's valley, Erg Chebbi desert, Berber Villages, Fez, Chefchaouen, Casablanca (which wasn't on the list but Isamel managed to make a short detour to accommodate us). The tour started on Monday morning from Marrakesh and ended Friday afternoon back in Marrakesh. We travel quite a bit, and this was one of the most wholesome and complete experience we've encountered - highly recommended.

Had a great time with the drums by the camp fire. Then on to Fes and Chefchaouen. Continuing to Volibus rome ruins and dropped off at our hotel in Meknes. Our guide Ismail was excellent.
