We were met at Marrakech airport by our driver Ismail. I think luck was on our side when we got this guy. He spent the next nine days with us. He was a fantastic driver, yet cautious and caring about our needs. Every night he would escort us to our Riad and did not leave till we were settled in. True regard for us. The highlight, of course was the desert trip. Ismail was born and raised in the desert, so was no stranger to the surroundings, which made us very comfortable. He turned out to be a good musician, playing the drums at the night get together around the fire. The trip included going to Essaouira, Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Meknes, Fes, Dades Valley, Aitbenhaddo, among other very interesting places, all taken care of by PDTours. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the local people, the tantalizing food,the camel ride and the magic of the desert all in part to Ismail. I highly recommend this company and I cannot say enough about our driver, as the driver can dictate how your vacation will be and ours was extremely good.

The accommodations were absolutely wonderful — Dades Paradise in the Dades Gorges was beautiful and peaceful, and our two nights at Sakura Luxury Desert Camp were simply magical. Sleeping in the Sahara under the stars, enjoying delicious dinners and breakfasts, listening to Berber music around the fire, and waking up to the silence of the dunes were moments we will never forget. Camel trekking and sandboarding in Erg Chebbi were such fun and added to the adventure.

What we appreciated most about this tour was the opportunity to see the real Morocco. It wasn’t just sightseeing — it felt like a genuine cultural journey where we learned how people truly live and preserve their heritage.

We had Hassan as our driver and he was very accommodating to our needs/stopping whenever we wanted, and bringing to different locations that suited our wants. When our 3-day tour actually started, we had no idea we were in for the trip of our lives. Our driver and guide, Ismaï, was prompt and on schedule, yet patient and accommodating for us whenever we wanted to stop for pictures. Also, he was great company with lots of insight without being an overbearing tour guide. He knows his way around..he never had to look at the map!

All stops were culturally immersive and fun, especially the Berber guest house in Gorges Dades. Very kind people who took care of us and cooked us the best dinner we had in Morocco! Not to mention the camel trekking and staying in the Berber tent. An unforgettable nights.

This is the real deal for a tour. Private is not an understatement, it was just us two with our private drive and our time. We were so happy we weren't on the bus tours loaded with other tourists. The trip to the Sahara was wonderful, and we truly felt like it was a movie! Riding camels, playing in the dunes, and awesome photo opportunities. Fez was magical; our accommodation was beyond our expectations with perfect hospitality. We had a guide through the old city, and he was very knowledgeable and ensured we experienced everything we hoped to! Chefchaouen was our last stop, and we had the evening and morning to explore on our own. Great shopping opportunities and everyone is so friendly!
To do this tour in 5 days is a lot of driving; however, the destinations and experiences are totally worth the hours in the car if you can't do the longer option. You will have many chances to stop on this tour, with some surprises along the way!

He adjusted my itinerary to suit my liking and also to adapt for some unpredicted weather - making... read more sure that I got the most out of all my time in Morocco. He was friendly and professional, providing good company as he drove and also accompanying me in the cities at some points during my tour so that I wasn't alone the entire time.

The riads that I stayed in were cute and cozy, the local guides that the company partners with provided interesting tidbits about their cities. My tour also included several meals, and I was impressed with the quality as sometimes the included meals on these types of tours are lacklustre - but this was not the case on this tour. I particularly enjoyed the meal during my stay in Dades Valley.

The highlight for me was the desert sunset and I wish that I had been able to stay in the desert longer yet as it was peaceful, and as Ismael said - "the desert is where you go to find yourself".
